Honey Butter Old Bay Shrimp

It is summertime, and all I want is fresh seafood. Who’s with me?! In Maryland, we love our shrimp and crabs smothered in Old Bay. So 9 times out of 10, I am putting Old Bay on anything and everything. This tasty Honey Butter Old Bay Shrimp is a quick, simple recipe to make whether you’re grilling or cooking it up on the stovetop.


Honey Butter Old Bay Shrimp

A simple, flavorful shrimp recipe. This Honey Butter Old Bay Shrimp is perfect to eat by itself, on a salad, or with a mix of veggies. All you need is four ingredients, and 15 minutes to make this tasty shrimp.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb Raw Shrimp
  • 2–3 tbsp Old Bay
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 2–3 tbsp Honey

Instructions

  1. Peel the raw shrimp (if needed) and place it in a medium bowl.
  2. Mix the shrimp with the old bay, add a drizzle of olive oil to help the old bay stick to the shrimp
  3. In a heated skillet, add the butter into the pan and melt. Once the butter has melted, add in the honey and combine.
  4. Place the shrimp in the pan and sear on both sides for 4-5 minutes. Once both sides have been cooked, mix everything together so the shrimp is coated with the honey butter.

Notes

  • Use vegan butter or ghee to make this recipe dairy-free.
  • Can grill this shrimp instead of cooking on a skillet.
